  1. Umm… I will go back and watch it just because now I’m curious, but a 4 minute match between Ember Moon and Liv Morgan is in your list of best matches of 2017 so far?

    I’m not arguing. I mean, it’s all subjective, but I would genuinely love to hear the reasoning behind that pick.

    1. Length of a match doesn’t matter at all for me. As you wrote (and as I wrote in my reasoning for my list of 2016): it’s all subjective and most of times I like things that doesn’t like the majority.

      For this little match here I simply wanted to point out why Liv Morgan still had a lot to work in her quest to be a vital performer in NXT. I like her moveset and what else she does in the ring but her gimmick isn’t very fancy. I usually like matches with substance and story. But I also like great moments, sometimes glimpses that draw me into even the shortest encounters. Sometimes you just can’t really explain it.

      Last note: first of all, this list is for me to simply have it. When people come, watch the match and read my babbling – even leave a comment – that’s even better and just adds to the joy of watching and writing about it.

      Hope this explains a little why this match – possibly in no other Best Of 2017 list – has got a place on mine.
